JAMB Opens 2026 UTME Change of Institution Portal, Begins Printing of Original Result Slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the start of the 2026 UTME change of institution and course process, allowing candidates to begin making adjustments to their preferred schools and programmes.

This means candidates who took the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now log into the JAMB portal to change their institution or course choices, depending on their admission plans and available requirements.

In addition to this update, JAMB has also confirmed that candidates will be able to begin printing their original UTME result slips starting from Monday, May 18, 2026. The result slip is an important document often required for admission screening, post-UTME registration, and other academic processes.

Students are advised to carefully follow official JAMB guidelines when making changes to ensure that all updates are correctly processed. The board also encourages candidates to avoid unauthorized agents and only use approved JAMB channels for all transactions.

With these new updates, candidates are expected to take advantage of the opportunity to finalize their admission choices and prepare for the next stage of the tertiary education process
